Much of my work is about revisiting people who have shaped or are trying to reshape history. I follow the trail of those who find a mission in the pursuit of social justice, sustainable, inclusive and egalitarian societies of peace and well-being.

I follow the trail of those who find a mission in the pursuit of dignity and peace for all: Sustainable, inclusive societies of cooperation and well-being, irrespective of ethnicity, race or religion.
I draw attention to the greatness of ordinary people who are extraordinary in their actions. As John Lewis states, people who through their dedicated labour seek to build worlds where human lives and dignity live alongside nature in peace. Where respect for plurality, cultural and religious diversity reign and prevail, even as the hurdles continue.
I attempt to make visible the stories of people who labour and seek to create such a world. People who have made it their life goal to rally against conflict, crimes against humanity and the scourges of human greed.
As such, through my art I draw attention to the attempts and processes of betting on a progressive future. I pay tribute to people who dedicate their lives to the quest of sustainability and human dignity. Women and men who shine a light, torchbearers of progress, in the true sense of the word.
